Topic: The Son of God

Salvation comes with our faith in Jesus Christ who two thousand years ago died for our sins so that we can inherit His righteousness and the right to eternal life.  Just as important as believing that Jesus Christ offered His life for our salvation is the proper understanding of who He really is.  We cannot be saved by believing that He, who is just a man, has redeemed our sins.  The apostle John, in explaining why he wrote one of the four books of the Gospel, said: "These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name." (John 20:31)
